About us

For more than two decades, 2A Magazine has strived to create a meaningful dialogue with an international professional audience, a dialogue that is inclusive, polyphonic, and deeply aware of the complexities of our interconnected world. Our mission has always been to explore the structures, both tangible and intangible, that enable such connections and to reflect on their profound impact on art, architecture, and society.

Despite remarkable advancements in communication technologies, the world today still suffers from fragmentation, misunderstanding, and, at times, hostility. We believe that true progress lies in fostering conversations that bridge divides and in cultivating empathy across borders. When we begin to understand one another, we unlock the potential for neighborhoods, and ultimately the world, to become more peaceful, innovative, and vibrant.

Global Perspectives, Local Roots

At 2A, we recognize the duality of living in a global village while cherishing the uniqueness of local cultures. This philosophy is evident in the diversity of works and articles we publish, which showcase varied perspectives and celebrate both universality and individuality.

Throughout our journey, we have sought fresh ways of viewing architecture and art, not just as physical constructs, but as profound cultural and spiritual expressions. We have explored themes that delve into overlooked dimensions of these fields, particularly the non-physical aspects that can enrich design when harmonized with the physical. By doing so, we aim to pioneer a dialogue that broadens architectural thinking and practice.

A Bridge Between East and West

Positioned in the Middle East yet connected to the world, 2A Magazine serves as a communication bridge between Eastern and Western architects. Through our initiatives, especially the 2A Continental Architectural Awards, 2A City‑Architecture Movie Awards, we provide a platform for architects and creative minds to interact, collaborate, and inspire one another, fostering a global exchange of ideas and innovations.

2A Center of Paragon City is also a forward‑looking platform by 2A Magazine, dedicated to envisioning cities where culture, innovation, and human values converge. By showcasing exemplary urban models and design solutions, it provides mayors and city leaders with insights to create inclusive, sustainable, and inspiring urban environments, fostering harmony, creativity, and stronger community connections across diverse cultural contexts.

Art as a Pathway to Peace and Compassion

Architecture, like all art forms, possesses a subtle yet profound ability to transform perceptions. It shifts attention from purely material concerns toward deeper aesthetic, ethical, social, cultural, and even spiritual dimensions. In doing so, art can unite rather than divide, encouraging compassion, celebrating shared human experiences, and bridging gaps between diverse ethnicities and nations.

This shift in focus, from separation to unity, from superiority to shared humanity, lies at the heart of our mission. We believe that by bringing creative architects together, we can sow seeds of peace, kindness, and understanding, extending far beyond the architectural community into the wider world.

Through the work of 2A Magazine and the 2A Continental Architectural Award, we aim not only to highlight architectural excellence but also to spark a broader movement: one that uses creativity to foster harmony and a sense of common purpose across cultures.

The Messages:

“2A Magazine transforms architecture into dialogue, uniting global voices to celebrate diversity, inspire innovation, and foster lasting cultural harmony.”

“Through bridging East and West, 2A empowers architects to exchange ideas, enrich communities, and elevate design beyond physical boundaries.””Celebrating local culture within global perspectives, 2A redefines architecture as a universal language for peace, creativity, and shared human experience.”

“2A’s mission: transform art and architecture into catalysts for compassion, uniting diverse voices to confront division and nurture collective understanding.”

“By showcasing innovative works worldwide, 2A creates platforms for dialogue, inspiring architects to design with spiritual, ethical, and cultural depth.”
